FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is all about food, fun, and fellowship!  The first meeting is THIS Friday and the "See You at the Pole'' event is this coming Wednesday.  This Friday’s meeting is BEFORE school starts, 7 a.m.,

in the FSHS Courtyard.   Please see Coach Glades, Mrs. Michaud or Mrs. Madeline Martin if you have any questions.

Enter through the main entrance by the office.  Although the doors will be locked, just hit the buzzer and Pam will gladly let you into the building.

When you return from your open lunch, the FSHS doors are open BUT NOT ALL OF THEM!  Two of the three doors in front and two of the three doors in back are open, the only ones that can be opened.  The two doors open are the two NORTH doors, both front and back.  I, too, am geographically challenged so, to clarify, the NORTH doors are the doors closest to the football field. 😊

Breakfast TODAY:  pancakes, egg patty, fresh fruit OR applesauce cup, juice, milk

Lunch TODAY:  fiestada pizza, corn, cauliflower, fresh broccoli, whole fruit icee, milk

Breakfast FRIDAY:  biscuit and gravy, fresh fruit OR applesauce cup, juice, milk

Lunch FRIDAY:  chicken biscuit, sweet peas, baby carrots, lettuce salad, fresh strawberries, flavored yogurt, milk

FROM MR. SPORE:  Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Initiative by MIT Graduate Students

How can Artificial Intelligence (AI) help mitigate the climate crisis, trace the spread of illness, build self-driving cars or identify bias in the criminal justice system?  How exactly does Netflix know what your next favorite TV show is BEFORE you do?!?  At the AI Scholars program, students learn to apply an AI

toolkit to tackle such real-world issues in domains they’re passionate about - no prior programming experience necessary!  Through a project-based curriculum, students work under the guidance of an AI mentor from Stanford or MIT to explore the ethics and applications of AI in healthcare, environment, law, music, astronomy and more!  At the end of the course, students gain a sophisticated understanding of AI, experience applying AI to real-world datasets and a final project to enhance your college portfolio and careers.   Applications for 2021 programs are open!  The deadline to apply is Thursday, September 30th.
