FSHS ACTIVITIES TODAY:

VARSITY TRACK AND FIELD IN THE FORT AS TIGERS HOST THE FORT SCOTT INVITATIONAL!

EVENTS BEGIN AT 3:30 THIS AFTERNOON.

VARSITY TENNIS @ CHANUTE!  MATCHES START AT 1 O’CLOCK THIS AFTERNOON.

GIRLS SWIMMING VS. LABETTE COUNTY (IN COFFEYVILLE)!  STARTS AT 4 THIS AFTERNOON.

 

Interested in playing soccer in the fall?  Attend Wednesday’s meeting in the aux gym during Activity Period.  Check in with your AP teacher before coming to the gym, please!                                                                      

If you are interested in playing on a Summer League volleyball team June 7th through July 1st, email pam.hutchison@usd234.org or come see her in the office to pick up the forms you need to participate.

  Dress Code Reminder:                                               

Neatness, decency, and good taste are guidelines of the district dress code. Students must dress in a manner that is not obscene; offensive; or substantially or materially disruptive to the learning environment. Apparel that is sexually suggestive, promotes violence, illegal activities, drugs, alcohol, and/or tobacco, or is determined to be gang-related is prohibited.

Examples of dress that are inappropriate:

1.    hats, bandanas, any gang-affiliated dress, any head covering (male or female), unless approved by the administration

2.  bare midriffs, revealing necklines, tube tops, or tops with spaghetti straps

3.  clothing containing sexual references, double meaning or promoting hate

4.  clothing relating to weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or paraphernalia containing reference of such

5.      wallet chains

6.      sagging pants worn below the hips

7.    short shorts or skirts or clothing with holes or tears that might be distracting to the learning process 

Students shall dress in a manner that does not endanger their own safety or the safety of others. If, in the professional opinion of any teacher or administrator, a student's attire is disruptive to class, detracts from a positive learning environment or is clearly inappropriate and in poor taste, that student will be referred to the office.

Talent Show/Pageant is THIS Saturday in the FSHS auditorium!  Tickets are $6 each and available online:  

fortscotthighschool.ludus.com (or from Ms. Bin).

Seating is VERY limited so advance purchase is recommended.       

Juniors and Seniors who are attending prom and bringing an out-of-school date need to have them signed up in the office before Friday, April 30th! 

 Juniors:  If you haven’t paid for prom, the cost is now $100.  It must be paid by April 30th.  See Ms. Lewis if you have any questions. 

 Need a prom dress?  See Ms. Bin or Mrs. Regan.  Sizes range from 0 to 19.

USD 234 hygiene protocols will remain in place!  Mask wearing, temperature checks and social distancing have kept the spread of COVID-19 from spreading among our students and staff, so they will remain in place until further notice.
