11th grade parents

As the school year is quickly approaching, I wanted to remind you that your child is required to have their 2nd dose of Meningococcal vaccine to enter 11th grade.  If your child has not received a Meningococcal vaccine at 11-12 years of age, they will need their first dose.  If your child has already received the required vaccines for this year, please forward them to me by email, mail,  or bring to school during enrollment.  If your child still needs immunizations, you can schedule them with your child’s medical provider, the Bourbon County Health Department (620)223-4464, or Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (620) 223-8040.  According to Kansas statutes, all students must be in compliance to begin school. Please reach out to your provider if you have any questions regarding immunizations.  Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
