Classified Tiger Team Member – Superintendent Destry Brown recognized Katie Chipman as the Classified Tiger Team Member of the Month.
• Ms. Chipman is a Paraprofessional at Fort Scott Middle School. She worked at Summer School in June and was willing to do whatever was needed. Ms. Chipman has been with USD 234 for a total of 7 years including subbing and full-time work.
A little bit about Katie:
The best part of Katie's school day- "ls being one of the first and last faces the kids see coming in to the gym and seeing them get on their buses when I do bus duty! I see kids from 7:10-3:50! Some days are a little more chaotic than others, but starting each day with a fresh slate is a great peace of mind!"
Katie's Family- "Karlie, a sophomore in college goes to Mid America Nazarene University and plays for the girls golf team. Dub, 16 and a Junior at FSHS. He plays all the sports he can and is definitely a Tiger at heart!
Fun Fact about Katie-" I love coffee mugs, and have just over 200! Yes, over 200! "
