Jessica Phillips, Fort Scott Middle School Kitchen Manager, was recognized by Superintendent Brown as the Classified Tiger Team member of the month. Mrs. Phillips has worked for the district for over 10 years. She was recognized for a well-run kitchen and creating a fun atmosphere.
A bit about Jessica:
The best part of Jessica's school day- "I love working in the kitchen BUT my favorite days are days that I can get creative and make different stuff. Like a school luncheon or making the salad bar veggies look a certain way that is appealing to people when they come in for meals. I love to turn ordinary food into something more. One thing you are told in Chef school is people "Eat with their eyes." They will go to the best looking dishes, bright colors and the arrangement. "
Jessica's Family- "I am married to my husband Bobby. We have a dog named Chinook and a cat. I have two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. I love spending time with my family and enjoying a family dinner every Sunday. "
Fun Fact about Jessica- "In my spare time I love to go fishing, playing cards or putting puzzles together and going to the lake!"
