Today:

FSHS 2nd Annual Career Fair in the aux gym!

FFA:  District Livestock Contest, all day

Please let your first hour teacher know if you’re eating at school today.

Lunch todayhamburger, lettuce & tomato, baked beans, Doritos, banana, milk, salad bar 

Additional auditions for Varsity Choir will be held during Morning AP tomorrow.

Student Council and Class Officers Applications are due to Ms. Lewis by 3:15 PM this Friday, April 7th.  If you are not submitting your application electronically, make sure Ms. Lewis has it before you leave school Thursday because we don’t have school Friday.

PROM NEWS:  Juniors and Seniors who are attending prom and bringing an out-of-school date need to have them signed up in the office before Friday, April 28th!

Health Occupations Students of America Unite!

Interested or already enrolled in the healthcare/biomedical pathway?  Make history and be a part of a new chapter of HOSA!  This is NOT a club!  HOSA is a prestigious organization specifically geared toward biomedical and healthcare careers.  There are conferences, competitions and scholarship opportunities!  

Come to Mrs. Heatherly’s room next Tuesday, April 11th, during Morning AP to find out more.

ANY student even thinking about entering the forensic, medical or healthcare field need to check in with Mrs. Heatherly, even if you can’t make it for the entire AP time.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes is hosting a Wiffle Ball and Kickball tournament on Sunday afternoon, April 23rd, at two o’clock at the Ellis ballfields.  Food will be provided for all who attend and there is no fee to participate or eat.  FSHS Clubs and fellow students are welcome to create their own teams to compete. This event is about food, fun, fellowship, and celebrating the school year.  If your club/organization is wanting to participate, please complete the team sign-up google form by Friday,  April 14th.

The list of students invited to the Honors Reception that will be held Thursday, April 20, is posted outside Mrs. DeLaTorre’s (Counseling Department) office.  To make this list, students' GPA had to be at least 3.5 for both 1st semester and 3rd quarter of this school year, NOT an average of the two.  If you have questions about the list, please see Mrs. DeLaTorre.
