Attention:  boys who are  playing basketball and are NOT participating in a fall sport will meet one week from today:  next Wednesday, October 4th, after school at 3:25 in the Basketball Locker Room.

This Saturday, FSHS Thespians are painting faces as a fundraiser to help Piper Weeks with her medical expenses.  The face-painting is happening during Fort Fest which is Noon until 9 p.m. this Saturday at Riverfront Park.  Fort Fest is sponsored by Care to Share, a local cancer support group.  Please let Ms. Bin know if you can help, even if you are not a member of Thespians.

Hedgehog Ink presents a writers’ seminar on Saturday morning, October 21st, from 8:45 a.m. until 12:30 that afternoon.  Topics include “Doing the Research,” “More than Poetry,” “Staying the Course” and “The Ins and Outs of Publishing.”  Students can attend for FREE and teachers who attend with students can also attend for free.
