Next week is Math Week at FSHS. There will be competitions, a scavenger hunt, and dress up days to celebrate the wonders of math!
Monday - Radical Day - Dress up with a radical 80s or 90s theme
Tuesday - Who Invented That? Day - Dress like a famous mathematician or a stereotypical mathematician
Wednesday - Square Root Day - Dress up with a plant theme
Thursday - Just Like My Notes Day - Dress as sloppily (or neatly) as possible to reflect your math notes
Friday - The Effect of Math Day - Wear pajamas to reflect how tired math makes you

There are Seniors who have books due in the library. These books need to be returned by Friday, April 26th, or you will NOT receive your diploma. Check with Mrs. Fleming in the Media Center/Library if you think you are on her list. You also need to check with Rhonda Dawson or Angie DeLaTorre in the office to see if you still owe fees and check with the kitchen to see if you owe anything. You will not receive your diploma until ALL fees are paid.

Spend your summer making a positive impact on your community! The Fort Scott Public Library is hiring two part-time summer reading assistants to help the youth librarian to plan, prepare for, market and implement the summer reading program for ages birth through 12th grade from late May until early August. The position will pay $8.50 per hour. Please apply at the library during hours of operation: Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
