It’s another busy day at Fort Scott High School! There’s a home soccer game, Tigers are hosting Pittsburg, and the Homecoming Powder Puff Football game gives off at seven this evening, also at Frary Field. After that game, everyone is invited to join FCA for the Fields of Faith event. In addition to fellowship, there will be pizza, prayer and a game of kickball!
Reminders: students who dress up all five days of Homecoming Week will get a pass to skip PM Tiger Time on a day chosen by Principal Johnson, and Community Empowerment Club is offering cash to those who dress up for Homecoming Week! Put your name in the drawing in the office. The daily winner gets $10!
Students attending the industry tour with Dr. L. in Pittsburg today will be dismissed at 9 o’clock this morning. Also this morning, the FFA meeting in the auditorium will be held during AM Tiger Time this morning, starting at 10:25, but Mrs. Russell reminds those of you going with her on the Girard horse-judging trip, departure time is 10:30 so FFA members will miss this meeting.
Ed Rising and HOSA are scheduled to meet during PM Tiger time today.
Prom candybar fundraising has started! Find a junior to buy a $1 chocolate bar to raise money for prom. ALL juniors AND seniors attending prom are required to pay $50 to Mrs. Knopp. See her with any questions.
Right now, there are only three students whose out-of-district guest is approved to attend the Homecoming Dance Friday night. See Pam in the Office ASAP if you want to bring a guest that is not an FSHS Tiger!

In the office is a jar of kisses. Choir is raising money to participate in the International Choral Festival and for just a buck a guess, you could win all the candy if your guess is closest to the actual number! THIS IS THE LAST WEEK! Winner will be announced Friday!

*The 2025 Fall Homecoming Dance is October 10th, 9:30 p.m., Courtyard!
To attend, you must be a current FSHS student in good standing.
Students on the ineligible list will not be able to attend.
Students need to be in school the day of the dance, unless an administrator has given approval.
***Dates are welcome if they’re still in high school (or graduated at semester in the current school year).

Breathalyzers will be used at the door.
Seniors, please visit with Mrs. DeLaTorre in the office to make sure the name she has for you in PowerSchool is correct because that’s what will be printed on your diploma.
