TOMORROW: Scholars’ Bowl practice starts at 7:10 tomorrow morning!

FCA will be hosting the annual “See You at the Pole” event tomorrow  morning at 7 o'clock in front of the high school. SYATP is a student-led gathering where students come together around the school flagpole to pray for our school, students, staff, community and nation. Water and doughnuts provided, all are invited.

Please make sure you pay $10 for your Powder Puff shirt by Friday! You will not be able to play if you haven't paid! Game is 7 p.m., Wednesday night, September 30th! 

The PreACT test will be administered on October 20th, but the signup deadline is THIS FRIDAY!!! This test is open to all freshmen. This is a practice ACT test. Scores will not be sent to any colleges or scholarships. This test is only for you to see where you perform with other freshmen across the country. You must sign up to take this free test and the last day to sign up, Freshman, is this Friday! Please sign up in the Counseling office. See Mrs. Keylon or Mr. Messer if you have questions.

School photo retakes with Kenny Felt are scheduled for Wednesday morning, October 14th.

The PSAT test will be administered on October 27th. The test will start at 8:00 am and run all morning. This test is open to all 11th graders to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship and also serves as a practice SAT test. You must sign up to take the test and pay $18. The signup sheet is on Ms. Deckinger’s door. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Deckinger. 

The signup deadline is September 29th. 

October 1st is the Fall FFA Blood Drive!

The 2026 Fall Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 3rd!

  • To attend, you must be a current FSHS student in good standing. 

  • Students on the ineligible list will not be able to attend. 

  • Students need to be in school the day of the dance, unless an administrator has given approval.

  • Dates are welcome if they’re still in high school (or graduated at semester in the current school year). 

  • Sign-up sheets and permission forms for out-of-district dates are available from Pam in the office. Sign up your out-of-district date by THIS Friday!

  • Breathalyzers will be used at the door.

The dance is from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m., it’s $5 per student (pay at the door) and formal dress is optional!
