PICTURE RETAKES:

Expressions Midwest Photographer Mike Barrett will be at FSHS for retakes next Wednesday morning, October 12th.

Also, if you did not get your photo taken when he was here Tuesday, September 12th, you can get your photo taken during this time.  We still have order forms in the office.

Next Thursday, October 13th, U.S Marine Sgt. Hernandez will be here during 

Morning AP and also during first and second lunches (5th hour).  Students interested in attending the AP visit will need to sign up on the Google form.  All students are welcome to talk with Sgt. Hernandez.

Invitations to join the FSHS Chapter of the National Honor Society have been  emailed to all Juniors and Seniors who meet the academic requirements.  Please check your email for an invitation and the accompanying directions.  ALL application materials are due back by 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 14th.  If you did not receive an email and feel this is in error, please contact Mrs. Harper.

 It is not too late to sign up for this year’s Writers Seminar!  The seminar is free for FSHS students; however, registration is still required to attend from 9 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, October 15th, at the HBCAT offices in Fort Scott, 104 North National (north end of Luther’s restaurant).  Registration forms are available in the office. 

 

FSHS Juniors are selling candy bars to raise money for prom.

Juniors, you may pick them up from Ms. Lewis's room, #120.  

You must sign out the boxes individually. 

Each Junior is supposed to sell two boxes to get into prom for free.  

If you choose not to sell, the cost to attend prom is $50.00 until December 2nd.

From then until February 3rd, it’s $75.00.  After that, it’s $100 to attend.
