FSHS Tiger Wrestling today at the 4A State Tournament! Wrestling begins at 9 am from the Tony's Pizza Event Center in Salina. 5 girls and 2 boys will be competing and representing FSHS. FSHS Spring Sports parent meetings tonight at 6:00. For parents of athletes participating in a Spring sport. Enter the West main doors and all parents will start in the auditorium for a short meeting before heading to their specific sport meeting. Boys Golf will meet Thursday at 5:30 in Room 119.

Here is information for the State Wrestling Tournament this Friday and Saturday in Salina.
There will also be a State Send-Off Thursday for our State Qualifying Wrestling teams. They will leave the high school at 10:30 and drive by the elementary schools and the middle school. The teams will then head downtown on National to Wall at approximately 10:45/10:50 on their way to Salina. Come out and line the route and cheer them on!

The Kansas Football Coaches Association has announced their 2026 Hall of Fame Class, and former Fort Scott Tiger Head Coach Bob Campbell will be one of the inductees!
Coach Campbell was the head coach at FSHS from 1992-2005, and then again from 2010-2018 (23 years total). He finished with an overall record of 186 wins and 63 losses, a 75% winning percentage. Under his leadership the Tigers were State runner-ups in 1999 (5A), 2001, and 2002, and State Champions in 1996 and 2000. In a 10 year span from 1996 - 2005, Coach Campbell's teams were 105-17 with 5 state title game appearances and 2 championships!
Congratulations to Coach Campbell on this well-deserved honor! He will be inducted into the KFBCA Hall of Fame at a ceremony in December of 2026.

Fort Scott High School would like to give special recognition to Junior Allie Wards! Allie organized a Cancer Awareness Week this week, full of activities and fundraising opportunities to help raise awareness and money for Care to Share. She was able to collect over $1,000 to go directly to Care to Share! Allie presented the check to representatives from Care to Share today at an all school assembly. Great job Allie!
