Fort Scott High School will be sponsoring a Teddy Bear Toss Friday night at the home basketball games vs. Chanute. Fans are encouraged to bring a brand new teddy bear or other stuffed animal, or plush toys to throw onto the court at halftime of the varsity boys game. All stuffed animals collected will be donated and distributed to children in our community for Christmas. If you cannot make the game but want to donate, you can drop off teddy bears or stuffed animals at the FSHS office before 3 pm on Friday. Please join the Tigers in helping spread some holiday cheer!!!

In Main Gym it will be JV Girls at 4:30, Varsity Girls at 6:00, and Varsity Boys at 7:30. In the Aux Gym JV Boys at 4:30, C Boys at 5:45, and C Girls at 7:15 (2 quarters). FSHS Girls Wrestling begins their season today at the Coffeyville Tournament. Wrestling begins at 1:00 at Field Kindley High School. There will be a Varsity and JV division. Go Tigers!!!

First Semester Finals will be held at FSHS on Wednesday December 17th and Thursday December 18th for students who are not exempt from taking finals. We will have a Finals bell schedule for both of those days.

Pre-Season Basketball jamborees will take place over the next week. The FSHS girls will be heading to Girard Tuesday for their jamboree vs. Girard and St. Mary's Colgan at 4:00. The FSHS boys will head to Colgan next Tuesday December 2nd and will scrimmage Colgan and Southeast. Both teams begin their season on December 9th at Paola.
