REMINDER: Fall Sports Parent Meetings tonight in the FSHS Auditorium at 6:00. For parents of all students participating in a Fall sport this year. Parents will report to the auditorium first before breaking out into their team meetings. We encourage at least one parent of Fall athletes to attend.

There are some policy changes to be aware of at FSHS this school year:
Tardy Policy - punishments begin at the 4th tardy per semester.
Cell Phone Policy - breakfast break was added to the times that cell phones CANNOT be used. Students will only be able to use them before school, during lunch, or after school.
Open Lunch Policy - All students will be allowed to leave campus daily for lunch if they choose to, including Freshmen. Habitually returning from lunch late will be cause for that privilege to be revoked.

REMINDER: Freshmen and New Student Orientation at Fort Scott High School today at 10 am in the FSHS auditorium. For all incoming Freshmen and new students to FSHS. Parents invited as well. Please enter the West main doors.

Just a reminder: all students participating in a Fall sport at FSHS must have a completed physical and concussion turned in before practices start on August 18th. If you already have the physical completed please turn in the forms at the FSHS office as soon as possible!

The Fort Scott High School Fall Sports Parent Meetings will be held on Thursday, August 14th at 6:00 pm at Fort Scott High School. This is for all parents of high school athletes planning to participate in a Fall sport in the 2025-26 school year.

FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS!!! Girard Medical Center of Fort Scott will be offering FREE sports physicals for Fort Scott High School and Middle School students for the 2025-2026 school year. There will be three dates: June 16th from 3:00 - 5:00, July 1st from 10 am - 4 pm, and July 8th from 10 am - 4 pm. Girard Medical Center of Fort Scott is located at 1624 S. National in Fort Scott. KSHSAA forms must be completed with the student's medical history and signed by their parent/guardian. Fort Scott High School is excited to offer a semester-long Driver's Education program for students enrolled at FSHS during the upcoming school year. The Kansas Softball Coaches Association released this week their 2025 All-State Softball teams. The Fort Scott Tigers had three players selected to the 4A All-State Team: Allie Brown - 1st Team Infielder Allie Wheeler - 1st Team Outfielder Abbie Gorman - Honorable Mention Outfielder Congratulations to these three players and all of the Tigers on an outstanding season!

Congrats to our FSHS Swimmers who earned All-Interleague honors this year: Boys - 1st Team-Stewart Davenport and Tray Maloun Honorable Mention-Eli Martin Girls - 1st Team-Avery Stewart and Kate Williams Honorable Mention-London Turner Girls Coach of the Year - Madeline Martin

The Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches recently released their All-State teams. The Fort Scott Tigers had four players named to the 4A All-State team: Lennox Vann - 1st Team Middle Infielder Dub Chipman - 1st Team Pitcher Brady Messer - Honorable Mention Pitcher Kanin Brown - Honorable Mention Middle Infielder Also, Fort Scott Head Coach Josh Regan was named the 4A Coach of the Year! The Tigers finished the season 28-3 and 4A State Champions!
