REMINDER: Fall Sports Parent Meetings tonight in the FSHS Auditorium at 6:00. For parents of all students participating in a Fall sport this year. Parents will report to the auditorium first before breaking out into their team meetings. We encourage at least one parent of Fall athletes to attend.


There are some policy changes to be aware of at FSHS this school year:
Tardy Policy - punishments begin at the 4th tardy per semester.
Cell Phone Policy - breakfast break was added to the times that cell phones CANNOT be used. Students will only be able to use them before school, during lunch, or after school.
Open Lunch Policy - All students will be allowed to leave campus daily for lunch if they choose to, including Freshmen. Habitually returning from lunch late will be cause for that privilege to be revoked.

Fort Scott High School will be holding a Freshmen and New Student Orientation Wednesday, August 6th at 10 am in the FSHS Auditorium. All incoming Freshmen and new students and their parents are invited to attend. After the orientation meeting students will be allowed to tour the building.

The Kansas Softball Coaches Association released this week their 2025 All-State Softball teams. The Fort Scott Tigers had three players selected to the 4A All-State Team:
Allie Brown - 1st Team Infielder
Allie Wheeler - 1st Team Outfielder
Abbie Gorman - Honorable Mention Outfielder
Congratulations to these three players and all of the Tigers on an outstanding season!

The Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches recently released their All-State teams. The Fort Scott Tigers had four players named to the 4A All-State team:
Lennox Vann - 1st Team Middle Infielder
Dub Chipman - 1st Team Pitcher
Brady Messer - Honorable Mention Pitcher
Kanin Brown - Honorable Mention Middle Infielder
Also, Fort Scott Head Coach Josh Regan was named the 4A Coach of the Year! The Tigers finished the season 28-3 and 4A State Champions!
