Tiger Families: Starting April 1, 2023 (THIS WEEK) state Medicaid agencies will begin reviews to determine whether patients are eligible to renew coverage. Most of those covered by Medicaid in Kansas are children. Watch your mail and respond quickly to requests for more information.

FSMS-Required state testing will begin next Tuesday and Wednesday for English Language Arts. Testing will occur for all 6th-8th grade students. We encourage students to get a quality night sleep the night before along with a quality breakfast.

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This special observance during the first week of March celebrates the national School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives kids a great start every day.
#NSBW23 will take place March 6-10, 2023.

Cheer & Dance Tryouts, 2023:
1) Cheer tryouts are March 20th & 21st, 3:45-6:00, in the aux gym.
2) Dance tryouts are March 22nd & 23rd, 3:45-6:00 in the aux gym.
MONDAY, February 27th, meeting for 9th-11th graders interested in trying out for cheer OR dance, right after school in the high school commons.
TUESDAY, February 28th, meeting for 8th graders interested in trying out for cheer OR dance, right after school in the middle school library.
THURSDAY, March 2nd, meeting for parents/guardians of 8th-11th graders interested in trying out for cheer or dance, at 5:30pm in the high school commons.
Reminder - No School on Monday, February 20th. All buildings, including the Board of Education will be closed.
